Liz Neerland
Liz Neerland is a native of Minneapolis and a graduate of Grinnell College in Iowa. As co-Artistic Director of nimbus, Liz has designed lights, costumes, sets, and props for a dozen shows. She has created four original productions and directed eight, including Minnehaha Avenue, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, the regional premiere of Edward Albee's The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?; and her original two-part adaptation of Aeschylus’ Oresteia trilogy, Agamemnon and Orestes, for which she received notice in City Pages “Artist of the Year” 2007 edition. Coming in 2011, Liz is excited to be directing the regional premiere of Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking starring Barbra Berlovitz.
