Tired? Bored? Listless? Hey, it happens to the best of us. nimbus presented the world premiere of A Five Step Guide to Happiness, a new play by Minneapolis author Cockroach, at the 2002 Minnesota fringe festival.
This dark comedy explored the persuit of happiness in today's cynical age. Six strangers find themselves at a bar one lonely summer evening. As the play progresses, they play freeze tag, discuss the merits of monster movies, and try to connect in this age of isolation. Written by author of 2001's smash comedy Third and Long, A Five Step Guide to Happiness was a memorable and conteplative entry into the 2002 Fringe Festival.
